Meet the Presenter
Heather Walker, DNP, RN, RTS‑CBC, RNC‑IAP, C‑EFM, C‑ONQS, RNC‑OB, RNC‑MNN has spent 29 years caring for pregnant and postpartum women across the perinatal spectrum. Her background includes mother/baby, high‑risk antepartum, labor and delivery, home health, case management, and clinical education — giving her a deep, well‑rounded understanding of perinatal care.
Throughout her career, Heather has trained and supported nursing teams, improved communication and coordination between birth settings, and advanced quality and safety initiatives across hospitals and statewide programs like Texas AIM. She also teaches as adjunct clinical faculty for a Houston‑area university.
